Hey everyone! I built my computer last Christmas and haven\\\'t really checked out the new stuff they have in video cards and the prices that went wayyy down. So I\\\'m thinking about requestin a part or two for my birthday coming up. Check out my specs in my sig and hopefully you could suggest something that would make a big difference in my gameplay. I\\\'m not really sure of a price range right now, but I just don\\\'t want to go too far over $300.

Also, my wire management is horrible, there is a clump of wires I don\'t use in the middle of my case, any ideas of what to do with them, or I\'ve heard modulators are great for wire management, any reccomendation that are just as good or better than my current FSP power supply.

Thanks,
Claudius

Yeah your rig looks great. New Monitor some nice hard drives would be what I would be looking for. With a 7800 there no need for a new graphics card until DX10.

Get an 8800GTS when it comes out. Thats about the only thing that will improve your gameplay as much as you'd hope. A raptor isnt worth the cash; get a seagate 320gb 7200.10 instead, or raid0 a couple 80gb sata3g drives for under $100 for raptor-like performance.

Somehow I doubt an 8800GTS will cost ~$300 when it comes out (IMHO), but would be a decent upgrade from what you currently have.

The price they debut at or the price they are a month or so after release, when supply is good? When the 7800GT came out, it was around $350. A month or so later, it could be bought for $270AR, which is when I bought it, hehe.
