iam looking to upgrade my current 1.6@2.4 right to a 2.4@3.4(i hope) ... i currently have a GeForce 6800 AGP 128mb and a 340 Enermax PS ... do you guys think i need to upgrade the 340W PS to a higher wattage or can i stay with my old PS???

btw ... im going with the P4P800 mobo if it makes any different ...

yes upgrade - make sure to have high amps on the +12v, +5v, and +3.3v ( nothing less than say 24 amps on any) Make sure that high watts can be handled by each line - since you are overclocking AND have a high watt vid card (your vid card's peak power consuption could easily top 200 watts...) Don't make the mistake I have - buy a well known, good brand. Spend the extra $ on the power supply as a poor one can cause the life time of your components to shorten drastically. So, look at the other threads in this section and see what others recommend.

i have a fortron blue storm for like 2 weeks now. nothing but good things. the fan blows down very cool air into my base and cools my comp better and its 500 watt! great reviews by ppl and good blue finish on the psu not to mention the wires r nicely sleaved with these plastic things.
