I have an aging Asus Zenbook ux31 and it is time to replace it.

I was thinking about the ux305 but I am not sure if I want not Core M or not.

I have a friend who bought this:
Model # - 9343-2727SLV

13.3-inch Full HD infinity display
Intel Core i5-5200U
8GB memory/256GB SSD

He paid $900!!! I think that is too high for a laptop, but he wanted spend haha

Consider going with a good Dell E7450 or E5450 - they are pretty good with good build quality, display, TPM, RAM that is not soldered.. That's what I got for me and 2 friends and we are all satisified, maybe except the weight

Wow, that's a sweet price for something with a high-res screen and Broadwell.

My question is: what do you usually do with your system, and what's your budget if you don't score the UX303? My vote is for the Dell XPS 13, although you're looking at close to $1K (still pretty reasonable) if you want a Core i5. It's all about that design and the high-quality input.

Mostly on site android development when I am not in the office.

Yeah I looked at the Dell but it hard to justify the price after seeing the discounts on the Asus.
