Bought a new tripod for my digicam, its an Optex T165. Its quite light, and well, it helps alot making photos better, great purchase :D It can be used as a table tripod and expands to over 5'... While being extremely light (I don't know the exact weight).

Best out of 3 shots quick photos without tripod:

Obviously, the exposure time is large because of the particularly poor lighting in my apartment, which doesnt help taking pics without a tripod, but I still find it a very good buy :)

I'm more amazed at the fact you got the cat to stay in the same position that long. And he's not even sleeping!

Yeah, he usually moves alot, which is painful with my 0.3 second exposure time, but this time, he was like half asleep, so I managed to take some good shots ;)

When I bought the camera, I thought the flash would be sufficient without a tripod, but with the anti-red-eye feature, it gives everyone glowing eyes... And it makes it look like the room is very dark around, even though the auto flash correction helps.

What happend to the pictures of the tripod. And no cat stands still that long, he is obviously high.
