I'm new to sata and was just wondering a couple things...my MB is sata 2.0 and the HDD I bought is SATA 150...I assume these will work fine toghether, just at the lower 150 speed, right?

Also, the cables only go on one way, right...it looks fairly straight forward, my PS has a serial ATA connector and my MB came with a serial ATA cable...I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything...thanks.

Yes that's right. The Mobos are backwards compatible with older sata drives. The cable from the HDD to the mobo can go either way, but you can't mess anything up as long as you're not forcing cables, just like IDE. SATA is nice and straight forward with neater cables.
