Hey guys. A bunch of nice people helped me build my core i7 rig, now I was wondering if you could help me overclock it. I've got a core i7 920 (D0) stepping, p6t mobo, 6 gigs of gskill RAM, and a xigmatek darknight cooler. Here is a link to the thread with my parts:

I've looked around a lot on the internet about overclocking, but I just want to make sure I don't mess anything up and melt my machine. Basically, I want to see how far I can go on stock before upping voltages.
Literally, I really know nothing about overclocking this, but here is what I was going to do.
First I change the "AI overclock tuner" to manual. Then I change the cpu volts to 1.2 (which I think is stock). From there I slowly raise the BLCK until it is unstable (test with prime 95). I've read that I should disable c-state and c1e support, but I couldn't find those in the bios. Do I need to do this? If so, could you tell me where these settings are?
Am I supposed to lower the RAM? I can't find a divider in my bios, just numbers. I thought I had to lower the RAM speed because when you raise the BLCK, the RAM speed is automatically increased.
Also, change the cpu multiplier to x20.
Sorry to ask you all these questions, but I couldn't find a really easy to follow step-by-step newbie guide for overclocking the i7.
