new to OC'ing

the 945 is a little more of a pain in the arse to overclock since its not a black edition processor.. but depending on what memory you end up using.. either ddr2 1066(am2+) or ddr3 1600(am3) then you can get some decent overclocks out of it.. try shooting for around 3.5-3.6ghz..

there are 4 primary things you will have to use to overclock it... FSB, HT multiplier, ram multiplier, and cpu voltage.. so make sure you read up on the link HydroBudz posted because it will help.. just make sure you ignore anything thats related to black edition processors..
 
They are both Deneb. The Black Edition has an unlocked multiplier.
