Hey guys!

New to mining, I've got 2 rigs already doing there thing but i wanted to compare with others to make sure im getting the best coin/money out of it.

Both rigs are mining ETH

Rig 1 : 10 x GTX1070ti roughly 32 MH/s Per card

Rig 2 : 6 x RX580 roughly 30 MH/s Per card

Combined they make roughly $36 USD. does this seem about right?

Is there a better coin to mine ?

I'm not mining to hold the coin either. i'm mining for a source of income at this point in time

Cheers!:)

I'd be mining GRLC with those 1070's for the next couple days anyhow

It depends on how much you want to play with your rigs and if you want to speculate on coin value.

https://whattomine.com/coins will let you know the best current coin to mine for profitability on your given cards. If you want to frequently change coins this is an easy guide to follow. Make sure you calculate your AMD and Nvidia rigs separately since what's best for one is rarely the best for the other.

ie current numbers say you would have generated $35 straight ethereum mining today or $13 in ethereum from the amd rig and $26 in verge with the 1070ti's for a total of $39

The other option is to look for coins you think are going to take off and mine them while they are low difficulty and hold them till the value goes up. This is obviously more risky and doesn't pay the bills but is the only way you are going to get rich mining.

I've just switched over to zCash with the 10x 1070tis currently getting 420 sols per card. so 4000+ sols all up. can anyone confirm if this is a good number per card? thanks

My 1070 Ti's are:
+175 core
+502 mem
120w TDP

On Equihash, slowest 1070 Ti is ~475Hs and quickest is 510Hs.

I'm getting around 480sols - 500sols with these settings, the more power seems to get more sols per card

225 core
1450 mem
105w

Think ill mine this for a 24hr period to see if its worth it or just switch back to ETH
