New to Intel, Q9450

I'm new to Intel and do I need to install any type of driver Q9450 CPU? I had to do that with my AMD Opteron 170. Sorry if this is a dumb question. So far, things has gone smoothly. Only problems I have encountered with the install was ATI drivers and I still can't get my Sound blaster Audigy 2 Platinum card to work with it. Performance wise, I like it so far.
 
Thanks. Will be overclocking later on this week whenever I finish re-installing everything.
 
LOL, cpu drivers? Wow is it really that bad in the AMD camp?

Just that on the AMD, they had to some Dual Core Optimizers as it was used for certain games I believe. Ofcourse, this was for Windows XP. Didn't know if they had that for the Intel camp.
