I have always owned a Intel chip, but I recently decieded to pick up an AMD Opteron 165. I am looking at this guide http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/showthread.php?t=138046 and it talks about the "Athlon based system". Is the Opteron part of the "Athlon based system"? Is Opteron its own "family"?
