After about five years I decided to overhaul the Thermaltake case fans in my old Corsair 780T, the Thermaltake fans made me feel like I was in a wind tunnel.
So I decided to get 5 Thermalright TL-C14C-S X3 fans plus a proper fan controller. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome, the fans are whisper silent and I can now controlthe speed with the ASRock motherboard software and the RGB with Polychrome.

Everything up to 1500rpm is mostly quiet, no matter whose name it has, thermalright obviously makes everything in china and that's why their products are still relatively affordable and of good quality.
I have chinese fans and they are no worse than thermalright, better than older noctua fans. There are top chinese fans in the range of 5-20 euros. And for every segment, from cases to CPU or AIO.
I have old Noctua fans and the plastic around the screw holes has started to crumble, I can no longer install them in the case. Very poor quality plastic.

Some of the fans such as Corsair and Thermaltake were ridiculously expensive, I didn’t want to spend $150-$200 upgrading my case fans. I bought the Thermalright Peerless Assassin a while back and was very impressed with the quality, which influenced my purchase of Thermalright case fans. Total cost of six fans plus the controller was around $45, which was perfect for me.

I am running the Thermalright hub as well, but it has the RGB controller built in. All of my fans except the 2x 180s and the rear 140 are Thermalright, very good fans.
