New TF2 Update

I'm not like "OMG IM NEVER PLAYING AGAIN" but the new UI is indeed as horrible as people described it

I've just tried this, it's obvious the newb training and the flashy round bouncing menus are for mac users who will only use something if its brushed aluminium and rounded at the edge.

Oh well not the end of the world, but the game isnt a keeper anyway, TF2 has bigger problems like keeping competative players from leaving due to the mindless crits and spam in tight corridoors.

New menu doesn't bother me, i've been playing since beta.

Wrong, because competitive players just simply don't like to play on servers that use crits. They play in private servers with custom variable setups. They play, you just don't see them if all you ever look at is the public server list with a few filters. They don't play much on pubs, you're probably right about that, but you do see them occasionally. They mostly play PuGs and scrims/matches -- which is where the competition is at. TF2 community is alive and well with no huge problems.

+100

I am very worried about the new Counter-Strike update coming out for this reason. From what I have heard/read, they are basically going to butcher that game. Say what you want about that game; it is the most actively (the most active players/servers) played online FPS.

If it aint' broke don't fix it. I don't care if they release it for the Mac, but if they start adding in all of this other crap... It would loose it's competitive nature which is why most people play I think.

I don't mind the updates and menu changes. For me the core game experience is still there regardless of the silly hats and weapon upgrades. It adds a little twist to the game but overall it's still the same TF2 that I've been enjoying for years.
