The only update I see for TF2 is the one that lets Mac owners play too?![]()

Team Fortress 2 Update Released
Product Update - Valve
Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:
Team Fortress 2
Fixed training servers showing up in the server browser for other users
Fixed a crash related to level changes while playing a game with bots
Fixed a potential crash on startup
Remove debug "crash" command on dedicated servers
Raging over earbuds? (virtual earbuds at that)
People on the Steam forum would find something to bitch about if Valve sent everyone like $2500 for nothing, just because they felt like it
The menu was your only interest?
I'm not a fan of it the new interface nor of its clear rooting in the Mac movement, but these people are overreacting. The gameplay is completely unchanged from before the update, so who gives a shit? The menu may look terrible, but it's functional. If people want to bitch about it, that's fine, but don't go using it as some childish excuse for quitting the game.
Oh, and nobody cares about the fucking earbuds either. They'll be the same as the halos: you wouldn't be caught dead wearing it as long as you had two functional neurons in your fucking skull.

lol It's not functional, there there are fucking pop ups everywhere and anywhere you put a window it's going to cover up a button. I pretty much quit playing TF2 a long time ago and only play it when I'm excessively bored, nor do I need an "excuse" to quit playing. But instead of debate the new interface/update you would rather call people childish because you can't think of anything valid to add to the discussion.
I never got into this game. It never felt like a true FPS to me.
You crazy boy! Also SixyWattMan there are like a thousand other games to play, I dont understand people wasting their time complaining about something like this, unless they actually truly enjoy the game and were hurt by such a change?
You do realize that if you hate it so much, you can just start TF2 through Steam's "servers" menu and skip TF2's main menu all together, right? That's how I normally start it anyway.
I usually don't so it wouldn't have any effect on me? reverse-destroyedThen what if you want to change servers while in game? destroyed.

Usually meaning it would have an effect on you. Destroyed.
Well this thread is definitely destroyed.
"WHY ARE YOU CRYING ABOUT THIS IT'S ONLY LESS FUNCTIONAL THAN BEFORE, IT'S FINE!"
Yeah interface is pretty crap now IMO. It's like Macintosh users are like console users..
My god, it's absolutely awful.
I feel like TF2 has been consolified.

I have a realistic fear of the downfall of Valve that's becoming more evident with each passing day.
Do you have any other clues to this supposed downfall? Seems like they are doing pretty well with there popular digital distribution system(Steam) that other companies are paying them to use as well as the new games coming out in fall that are coming out on the new platform\platforms(Mac and Linux). Increased income from Steam, Mac Users, and New Games seems to be on the road to success to me.
Success in a business sense? Sure. I have no doubts they are making money. But it's the same fear people have of "consolizing" pc games. Just seems to be more changes coming that deter from the way the company used to be, and used to act, operate, etc.
You could almost say the same thing about google. Especially with that wallpaper shit they pulled yesterday.
It might not be a "downfall" in the sense that you're thinking.
The new main menu is fine.
