Hello ppl!!
I build new system two days ago (spec in signature), coming from P4 so this is HUGE improvement for me. Now back to my question. What is max safe temperature for my quad? And I also think I made mistake with this case because it doesn’t have fan on side penal >;/ I think I will have to make manually hole on the side with 1 or 2 fans :) :) :)

I am running memory ration 1:1 @ 421.0 MHz. (oh I just check cpu-z and memory timing are 5-5-5-18 2T, I will go play with it later)
Cpu is 3.5 @ 1.27v
Max temp I got is 68-70C all pass by Intel burn test. Idle is 35-40C
I use override for my video card and max I think I saw was around 60C with 65% fan (it’s loud but I don’t care I use headphones anyways when I play games :) )

I will try to run another test with open case to see if it will make any difference with temps…

ps.
i use cope temp to check temps. Tj max set to 100C ( I read on forums that should be set to 100C for my quad)

Good new for me. I found my problem.. CASE!!!! Too much air going out not enough getting in. This particular case has only 1 fan intake and HD bracket with two hard drive are blocking air getting in and it has two holes on side (no fan mount just holes) it has 230mm at the top and 120mm exhaust at the back. With open side penal my max temp (Intel burn test 10 times) was 58-65 true all 4 cores. Now I have two options. First is that I leave side penal open (with all that dust and shit getting in) second is that I make my own intake on the side. Hm… I will have to figure out something.
Now those two intake holes I have mentioned. One is located on the bottom and it will blow air directly to power supply???? Second one will blow air on to bracket for CD/DVD rom ?? wtf!?!?!

Will it make big diff I switch cpu fan scythe 1200rpm to 1600 rpm one ??

id say just swap the front fan if its an open fan inlet.. if its one those setups where it pulls air from the bottom or sides of the front panel it wont matter.. but if it does look similar to the antec 300 front.. then id say get a high CFM fan on the front.. or open up all the 5.25 bay slots.. im sure the exhaust fans will create enough vacuum in the case to actually make a difference with those open..
