Putting together my new rig....Thoughts or suggestions most welcome:
1) Aspire X Super Alien ATX 500W Case/PS
2) Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3
3) BDG 7900 GS OC
4) Intel Core Duo E6300
5) Super Talent 2 x 1 gig DDR2 800 PC6400
6) WD 500gig HD

#2 Gigabyte DS3 - check! good mobo
#4 Core 2 - 6300 - great CPU / good with that mobo
#5 DDR2 800 - decent brand high speed ram

The rest 1, 3, 6 are all personal preferences and shouldn't matter too much. Unless the PSU in that case is crap. Not sure.

Yeah, I thought that might be the case, but I wasn't sure. I know their 350-450W PSU's are crap. Wasn't sure if by the time you got to 500W, if it was actually equivalent to a respectable 400W.
