My first post, so please be gentle ;)

Just got some new parts for my aging 1800+xp system. Upgrading it to the 21st century. :cool:

nothing too serious, i'll oc it as much as possible on stock cooling. Then maybe a xp-120 down the line. :)

Eclipse is right, the A64's run very cool. Stock cooling might do you just fine, however, if you do want more in term of a hsf, the XP-90 performs just about as well as an XP-120 on these cpus (and with less weight and size, cheaper too). My 3000+ Venice at 2.4GHz idles at 22-23C with the stock cooler. Load temps are only around 26-31C depending on what I'm doing. Just some food for thought for ya.
