i know this picture sucks, its from a camera phone
i just finished putting together a new system

any idea what this could be? i dont have another pcie videocard to try so im not sure if thats it or not. could it be the mobo thats bad? i ifgure since it technically works, its just hard to see it would just be the videocard, but i dont know

anyone have a clue what it might be?

This usually happens when:

The GC is dead

or the GC hasn't been properly seated in the port.

See if you can borrow a friends or go out and buy one yourself and recheck to see if the GC has been seated properly again.

just took the card fout again
and i noticed one of the pins on the videocard is like chipped off or partially missing

thanks for the response
