New system on its way!

This is my first A64 system.

what settings should i shoot for.

and what do you think of my part selections?

Similar to what I plan on buying. Except...

Go with one Raptor 74GB, everything I have heard and seen points to one 74GB is faster than 2x74GB in RAID0 (inherient latency in software raid), not to mention cheaper. Granted, with RAID0 you get more bandwidth, but at a cost of seek and access times. With that in mind, look for a nice 160GB or 200GB sata-II with NCQ instead of the 2x80s. Save yourself some money there

two 80s and one raptor i have from my old system.

not sure what i'm going to do with the raptors, i'll try em both ways and see what happens.

unless theres an updated memory controller on that 3500 winnie, im pretty sure your going to have a tough time oc'ing that 4x512 memory... doesnt it default to DDR333 once all the dimms are filled? might not be able to oc at all..

currently @230HTT 2.5Ghz 1.4v

primes been running for 8 hours, and thats plenty stable for me.

time to bump it again.
