I am looking to build a new system using a C2D 6400 and an 8800GTS. The only things I am unsure of are the motherboard and the RAM.

I want to be able to add another 8800GTS in the future so SLI is a must, also I don't want to rule out the possibility of overclocking but I don't have the free time to put into squeezing out every last bit of speed.

Any recommendations you guys have would be appreciated. Price is a bit of an issue, hence the GTS, but not the only decision maker.

Well the tried and tested Asus P5 boards will do very well for you, However the newer 680 chipset would be the way to go, albeit when the bugs are fixed (Which I think they have now)

I am currently ordering a new C2D system but I was hoping to get the ASUS STRIKER Mobo but they are thin on the ground in Ireland so I will have to get them from the UK.

Alot of places are only getting them on the 5th January.....so we see what happens.
