Looking to build a new system.

840D
Asus P5WD2
Antec P180
Enermax 485W EG495P-VE SFMA Noisetaker
Thermalright XP-90C
Maxtor 250GB MaxLine III
ATI X850XT PE
1 gig ram & a couple of optical drives.

Was wondeing if Power Supply is going to be ok & wheter or not I will have any problems with this Heatsink on the Asus board or if I should get a Zalman CNPS7700-Cu instead.

Yes, I have the XP90c, Panaflo 92mm H/O fan and I am using AS5. I do not have the same processor as you as mine is the 840D EE. My idle temps in a room with an ambient temp of 80F (yeah, i know that's hot) is 35c and load gets to about 44-46c. Be sure to order the LGA775 rentention mechanism was well - - you will need it. I like Enermax PSUs but I like the tighter tolerances of the PC Power and Cooling PSUs but they are expensive.

Watch your temps on the X850XT PE. I have another post that explains the trouble I have with the card heating up.

Good luck with your build.
