What exactly you asking for? I'd get 2g (2x1g sticks) just to make it more future proof, as games/apps run better with it for starters but hard to help without knowing what you want heh.

It can be a good setup to some, but it all depends on what you're going to be doing with it.

Definitely spring for 2GB. The Value Select is down to $147 shipped on ZZF.

If you already have 1GB of ram (2 x 512), then you might as well save some money and not buy any additional ram. 1 GB is sufficient for almost anything you want to do and you can always buy more later. If money is not an issue, then you can get better performance by going with 2 x 1GB instead of 4 x 512MB.

Lose the Sony optical drive.. you only need one..so keep the NEC dvd burner..
use the savings and bump up your hard drive space.. the 250GB Western Digital's SE, with 16mb cache are around $95-100
As others have stated, 2 GB ram, by way of two, 1GB sticks..

What do those Asus 7800GTX's run? I believe Asus's video cards are overpriced..

DDR isn't going to be getting any cheaper, but OSs, appz, and games ARE getting more RAM hungry. He should spring for 2x1GB.

If the money is already spent, you might as well not worry about it and enjoy your new build. There were no major holes in your parts selection.
