Hey Everyone,

I've only ever used pre-built watercooling solutions but I'd like to do my own this time around and with my bonus from work coming in a couple weeks, I'd like to have some fun building a new system. I may end up building it and selling it later but I want to build it for fun.

I have never done my own WC system before so I don't know where to start but I'l going to have a quad sli setup and I like the look of 90degree fittings. Any help and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I'm still trying to find a case to use as well.

It will be 2600k setup w/ 4x GTX 680's.

/assist!

A decent 480 rad should do 4 gtx 680's and a 2600K. But if you could get a 480 rad and a 240 rad in the same loop it would be even better. A Hw Labs GTX 480 with some good high rpm/high static pressure fans should be able to take care of it all at decent temps.

What is your budget for the loop?

not even, 500? those 4 blocks for the gpus alone will cost you at least 100$ each.

Yup, 500 won't be enough. The 4 gpu blocks and the 480 rad will pretty much put you over budget. Add in the cpu block, all the fittings (which can add up if you are gonna use anything other than straight barbs) , the sli connector block (I know that's not the right term) tubing, pump, etc.

I think you need to either rethink the budget, or if you get 1 less 680 that should free up the funds for the loop.
