I just assembled my new system recently . Mostly everything is new except for the RAM I pulled from my last PC. It's Mushkin Level One PC3200 Cas 2-3-2 . I've read up on some memory info. On over clocking and timing but now its all formed into one big blurr. I may overclock sometime in the near future but for now I just want to get my memory running at some decent timings. I just got a 3500+ Winchester and MSI Neo4 Platinum.

Looking through the Ram timings etc I was wondering what you belive would be good overall timings to start out with.

CAS# latency (Tcl) auto'd to 2.5. I set it to 2.

These next i'm not so sure what I should try and set to:

Min RAS# active time(Tras) auto'd to 8T
RAS# to CAS# Delay (Trcd) auto'd to 4T
Row precharge Time (Trp) Auto'd to 2T

and the rest are all set on auto.

Row cycle time (TRC)
Row refresh cyc time(Trfc)
Row to Row delay (Trrd)
Write recovery time(Twr)
Write to rRead delay (Twtr)
Refresh period (Tref)

The last set there I imagine i'd not be messing with?

Oh and Should I set my Memory timing to 1T instead of 2T ?

I searched the forum and didn't see any info on
Read Preamable value
Async Latency value both of which are set to 6ns ...

Sorry if this is all posted else where but its such a jarbled mess its hard to pick out the info I need.
