I'm in the market for a new computer after saling my old one for $950 (less than $100 for what I bought it for a year and a half ago). Since I'll be entering college in a month, I need a system by then. The problem that I have is that there is curently a transition going on that I'm sure that you're all aware of. And it seems to be very stagnant at this point. I wouldn't mind spending the extra cash to get a 925X but there isn't even a discent GPU for it out yet (i'm looking towrds the 6800GT) and well, there isn't much DDR2 availble out there. So, I'm going to stick to my default maybe if it gets all of your approval and whether or not its a good move or not THANX:
Abit IC7-G (875P)
P4 2.8E (I do plan on overclocking)
2x512 Kingmax DDR500
6800GT (doesn't matter which manufactuer cuz they all are reference card rebranding anyways)
I already have drives and my Audigy 2 ZS Platinum (that I got for $100 last week at Circuit City).
