Well just ordered my first SSD got a Samsung 840 250gb drive, I plan on using it for my OS. I do a lot of gaming on my computer is it a good or bad idea to install some of those games to this drive? Any suggestions on what items to not install to this drive? Thanks looking forward to trying out this drive and seeing what it does for system performance.

Its a good idea to install games.

Any suggestions on what items to not install to this drive?

Media files since they take up space and it's not like you want to play your mp3s at 10x speed.

Games load crazy fast on SSD's. Sucks when you play with other people without SSD's.. But not in a bad way. Highly recommended.

Probably no need for media if you have space on a mechanical disk somewhere else.
