While not tech related, the new SpiderMan trailer has been spreading across the net like a bad virus. This trailer contains some actual footage of a bad guy that has yet to be touched on in the previous trailers. You know, the one that’s named after a poison, don’t want to spoil it that much. ;)

You can also check out the trailer in Quicktime in 720p HD format.
 
Oh ant BTW there will surely be spoilers in this thread, so if you are the type that doesn't want to see or know anything, avoid this thread. ;)
 
I so can't wait for this to come out. I've been very happy with the way they handled 1 and 2, and 3 looks better quite frankly. To bad they screwed up so many of the other Marvel Movies!

I always watch a comic book movie with the idea that it's a movie. I never try to think of it as a translation of mediums, but more of a different story arc with familiar characters.

With that in mind, I have zero expectations when I go in.
 
Sam Raimi has been my favourite director since I saw Army of Darkness. He has been unbelievable in handling the spiderman franchise up to this point, and if this trailer is any indication, the third should really be something.
 
Isn't this just a shortened version of the 7-minute 720p trailer from awhile back :( ?
 
I just wanna see the venom fight, fuck Sand Man and Hob Goblin.
 
I haven't seen the first two spiderman movies, but damn that really looks good.

You mean sandman?
 
So by the look of it, Spiderman will most likely have to team up with the Hob Goblin in order to take on sandman and venom, right? It only makes sense because there wont be enough time to cover 2 villian introductions and boss battles. But man, seeing venom is just flat out awsome ! I hope that he's kept as buff as he was in the comics and the " animated series " :D . Too bad carnage wont be in it also.

I totally agree.

I remember when SM2 wrapped up Raimi said in an interview he would never direct a SM movie with Venom in it.

Anyone know what changed? I'm not complaining, Venom is easily my fav comic book character, but I'm curious if Raimi bowed to studio pressure on this one.

He probably said that to keep people guessing. Remember when they tried to deny that the Hobgoblin would appear in this one?
 
Guys, it isn't the Hobgoblin. Hobgoblin was a wannabe guy.

He's taking his dad's spot as the green goblin. Notice his outfit is still a green/black combo.
 
hot shit. more than i expected. I hope the trailer parts arent the only good parts in the movie.
