I have this http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Revolution71-main.html Audio card on my PC but I need new speakers to go with it. My budget is limited, around $250 is max I can spend I guess. What is the best setup for gaming? Currently I have the most basic two stereo speakers from Creative you can get. I much rather use headset than those two. I'm looking forward to listening to music and playing WOW: BC. Already got myself new mouse & mousemat and ordered 22" tft monitor.

Logitech Z-5500s! You might be able to find them for $250. Their price fluctuates pretty often. Sometimes more, sometimes less than $250.

If you can still find them. Creative G500's are pretty good for the price. Circuit City used to carry them for $169.99. That's where I got mine. Seems like they took it off their website. But you might still be able to find it locally.

Good luck.

Buy a headphones Coss or Sennheiser. It's cheap 100$ and sound will be
more qualitative then Logitech.

Logitech is a bad choice, IMHO.

If you don't like headphones, you can buy Sven acoustic. Not Bad for it price.

I have a sennheiser headset with mic. It's really light on the head and confortable whatI like about them. But the thing is every headphone eventually will start to hurt your ears in some way when you're on a very long gaming session.

I found a pair of Sony's bookshelf speakers yesterday. They've been sitting around for a while so I decided to put them in use. So I'm looking for a decent tuner-amplifier and possibly a subwoofer if it's needed. I really can't stand those premade audio sets. They're ugly as hell and the wires are awful because they're too short and a good placement is impossible. Also a tuner-amplifier is much more professional looking than the Logitech/Creative etc sets. I'd be embarrassed to my friends if I was using those.
