I can't believe it's taken this long...I haven't had a new shuttle in more then 2 years, let alone been able to build a whole new computer from scratch. Some of you who have been around here for years may recall my constant back and forth decisions when it came down to whether I would buy a new Shuttle in place of my desired Lian-Li. Well...I've finally done it, it's on the way!!! Here's what's on the way:
- Shuttle XPC SP35P2 Pro
- Intel C2Q Q6600
- GSkill 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-8000
- eVGA 8800GT 512MB Superclocked
That's the main system components anyways, a few other parts bringing the order to $2,500...but I can't wait...it's finally on the way, the Shuttle ships today and hopefully the rest will follow from NCIX shortly after. The only catch is that because there's low numbers of 8800GT's available I will hopefully get one when NCIX's order comes in on friday, but if not I've got a 6200LE on order so I can at least setup the system regardless.
I'll keep everyone posted as things start to happen and come back with pics when I can...I can hardly wait!!!
