new soundcard decision

well, its christmas time and ive decided to buy myself a new sound card. my budget is about 100 bucks cad. i need a card with a digital out, either coax or toslink is fine, as im outputting to an external home theater setup. now what im wondering is what card to go with, the chaintech av 710, i believe can be had for pretty cheap, and then getting more expensive we have the audigy 2, and turtle beach montego ddl which is nice because of its dolby digital encoding. i could also pony up a little more for an x-fi xtrememusic card if its really worth the 140 bucks i would have to pay for it. now i would use this card mainly for music and dvds, gaming is a secondary priority.

as it stands right now im leaning towards the turtle beach montego ddl mainly because of its dolby digital encoding, which i used to have with my old nforce 2 mobo with soundstorm. im wondering what everyone else thinks of those choices, or if they have any other cards they could suggest.
