Hey fellas. I'm more of a reader then then someone who post here at [H] forum constantly (I'm trying to change that), but I just thought I'd spread the word about something.
I'm not trying to advertise at all, and if this is considered advertising, then I apologize now and will understand if this thread is locked/deleted.

Anyway, after reading about tons of different comp products on the forum, I noticed people have a lot of trouble finding then newest stuff at times. They always refer to CC or BB, Fry's or Micro Center being out of stock or maybe having a few left of some sort of item. So I just thought I'd share with you guys that there are now new Sony Style stores that are opening up everywhere in the US (4 currently in CA), and that we have a few in the Bay Area. Thus, if you need/want Sony products, you can go straight to the store(s) and pick stuff up if your local stores are out of stock.

Currently, there are 5 in the US and others being built as we speak.

CA:
Palo Alto, CA
Costa Mesa, CA
San Francisco, CA (well, the Metreon)
Los Angeles, CA

There are some currently in Florida, New York, Texas, and Chicago.
More are opening over time.

This is more referring to you guys because it seems like Monitors, TV's, and Audio equipment are desired if anything from this forum (as for Sony Products).

I do currenlty work at the Palo Alto store in CA, but it's not a "sales" enviroment so you don't have to worry about people pushing you to buy something.

If you guys have any questions, feel free to ask.

Once again, I personally don't benefit from this information. It's just a lot of people don't know the store(s) exist, thus if you guys need product, these stores are there. If this is considered advertising, I apologize to Kyle and the other moderators.

Have a good one,

-Rob

thanks for the info. Having yyou state that you work at one of the stores is a good thing. Usually vendors encounter a hassle when they pose solely as a normal forum member and aren't straightforward with their actions.

That is cool. Cant wait until they open some in TX...

Well, they have one in Houston, and their building one in Dallas right now, just to let you know.

How about the prices? Are they similar to any other stores? Overpriced? Bargain priced?

And how about the service department?

-J.

It's the same price as all the other retailers. We have the same Manufacture rebates as any other store as well. No price matching unfortunately. Well, it depends really.

What we're really good on are warrenties. For example: 189.99 for 5 years on laptops. But it all depends on what you're looking to buy. They're very competitive.

We also don't sell open box/refurbished items at that store. You'd have to go to a outlet or something.
