New small system without discrete video

Hello HardForum, first of all I must tell I am very happy founding this forum because I have found really sweet systems here.
Here are my wish:

1. What will you be doing with this PC? software virtualization in VirtualBox (many VMs at once), movies and some medium rezolution games (I don't want separate video card!!)

2. What's your budget? <800 euros, cheap as posible :)

3. Where do you live? Spain

4. What exact parts do you need for that budget? Case,PSU, CPU, motherboard,much ram,only 1 ssd without hdd, 1 good CPU cooler

5. If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? All new

6. What specific features do you need in a motherboard? 1 HDMI port and to be cold as posible :D

7. What resolution output do you need? fullHD

8. Does this system need to fit into a particular space? I want to the case to be as small as posible

9. How comfortable are you with custom case design/modification and electrical wiring? I want all out of the box, I don't want to modify case and other components.

10. How important is the noise/silence of this sytem? I want to be very quiet if it is posible

11. How mobile does this system need to be? I don't want WaterCooling, I think this is a very dengerous job for electronic parts :D

12. Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

13. When do you plan on building/buying the PC? In a couple of weeks.


I'm thinking at intel i7 2600 processor and at Asus P8H67-I Mini ITX motherboard. In the future I don't want to overclock the system and I don't want a separate video card. I would be happy with Intel HD3000 or other integrated card which supports HD playback.
I want a small and cold case. Please help me to build a system :)
 
Just a suggestion for a processor, that 2600 that you chose is a 95 watt part so you will need a pretty good sized heat sink yo keep the system cool. You did mention that you are going to be running some virtual machines so I would stick with a quad core like the Intel Core i5-2400S (65watt), or maybe even trying out the 2100t (35 watt). As far as a small case, the smallest itx case I have found is the Habey EMC-600B (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811321014&cm_re=habey-_-11-321-014-_-Product). You would need to stick to 2, 2.5" hdds and low profile ram like kingston (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820134812).
If you need an optical drive there is a larger 800b version of the case,

Skip the i7 2600. First it doesnt have the HD3000, only HD2000. Only the K chips have HD3000. Use the i5 2500K. It works well and can be overclocked on the graphics side if needed. As well as being much less expensive. I speak from experience and have the 2500K in my machine!
 
The i5-2405S also has HD3000 graphics which is a 65W part. The cpu is more powerful than the i3-2105 which is also at 65W. Its less powerful than the i5-2500K but thats 95W. These all have the same GPU at the same clock rate. I don't know if the level 3 cache size would impact the performance of the GPU but if anyone out there knows id be interested. The i5-2500K and the i5-2405S both have 6MB while the i3-2105 has 3MB. I am planning a sandybridge H67 build without a discrete graphics card too.

How about wait to see if Llano desktop parts become available by then? They should be inexpensive, power efficient and the integrated graphics of their top end part pretty much runs circles around HD 3000 in games.
 
And their top end CPU would also likely be much higher on power consumption and heat. Will have to wait for a review.
