Sup Everyone, I been trying to find the dimensions of the new Mini-Slim PS2. Anyone know where I can find it

You have a DVD case? It's about that size and height of two stacked on top of each other.

I've got the thing right in front of me, let me check the manual..

Ah.
Console dimensions (approx.) 230 x 28 x 152 mm / 9 x 1 x 6 in (w/h/d)
Console mass 900 g / 2 lbs.

Traded my old one in at EB for this one on the day the new GTA came out. They didn't even check to see if the old one worked or the games were in the boxes. LOL. Thing is TINY.

Well I finally broke down and bought a PS/2. Seemed like a good system with lots of games and I did not want to wait for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto SA. I wonder if this slim PS2 will be moddable? If not, meh no big deal. I'll probably only be buying the killer games like GT 4 and some of the cheap old classics. Maybe I'll try and find some of the old Playstation One games that I missed.

The only reason I ask for the size is cause Im thinking of putting one in my car and these smaller sizes make it a lot easier

how much did EB give u for the old ps2? And what did u pay out of your pocket for PsTwo in the end? (not counting any games you traded in, just the console for console swap)

EB gave 50 bucks for broken old PS2's, but 100 bucks credit for working PS2's. On top of that each game you gave them is 10 bucks for more credit. I brought in 4 games so only ended up paying 10-something. If I hadn't brought in any games it would've just been 50 bucks and the old PS2.

Though I heard EB has stopped doing that offer a few days past. I'm out the door or would have checked it myself, but try EBgames.com under "Trade In Offers."

Keep in mind that the top flips open now, making it not so ideal for car installation if you plan on mounting it inside something. It doesn't have a slide out CD tray anymore.

The new pstwo should save you so much space, you would have enough room for the flip-top to open all the way. :D
