new SLI setup not showing boost.

before sli i was getting around 8200 3dm2k5, now its just about the same. What gives?
 
Sounds like you might have not turned SLi on in hardware... did you change the SLi selector switch between your pci-e slots to the "enable SLi" position? Otherwise you will run with both cards on for multi-monitor mode, not multi-GPU mode.

could DFI's SLI broadcast apature setting in bios affect anything?

EDIT: Yes it does.

I originally put it to AUTO thinking it had to do with enabling SLI. But it doesn't. Leaving it at DISABLED makes SLI work properly.
