Doing a basic mod not gonna theme it to anything. but it should look shweet when its done.

Adding Side window, and window on top around where the fan on top will be remounted.
2x120mm fan blowholes on side 1 on top to replace the 80mm one thats already on there
which is stock on Pc-60 Lian Li case
May be painting it or might just leave it the cool brushed black aluminum it already is.

Starting mod after X-mas kuz i have to buy presents for my family and girlfriend.

ill be posting the whole work progress after xmas in the worklogs forum, after i begin work on it :D

My computer currently:
Amd Athlon 64 3200+
512mb pc4000 xms pro
Radeon 9800 xt
Gigabyte K8n-pro
Stock cooling for cpu, being replaced by a zalman or possibily watercooling.

It was 2 120mm fans, and he already said where they were going, one on the top, and one on the side panel.

actually I think it's 3
2x120mm fan blowholes on side 1 on top to replace the 80mm one thats already on there

anyway sounds cool, be sure to post some pics

wow a 14 db 120 mm fan not bad... theres the kicker, ~$24 for a single fan. nice but not in the budget :(

1/4" is pointless for acrylic windows. 1/8" wouldn't ever crack unless you were throwing a baseball at it.

And the smiley XD is not in style.

every time i read XD I think of the memory sticks, not the smiley.

yeah I was wondering WTF an XD was

memory card was the first thing to come to mind, but then I thought maybe it was some foreign term of excitement like "woot"

hahahahaha yah that does remind me of memory sticks.... but who am i to care of what is in style and what isnt.

Heres a brief update, i just ordered a Lian li pc-60 from newegg and my nifty UV ide cables :D

24 bucks for a single fan? thats not bad, its better then going watercooling right now, since it will be a LAN pc, so to speak. Im not currently planning on watercooling at this moment :D
Im thinking that the 3 or 4 120's will keep the case decently cool for the most part.

Hey does anyone have some thoughts of a ducting material since about 5 minutes ago i got an idea of making a fan duct on the bottom of the case and putting a fan on the bottom. If i end up doing that ill probably be modifying the kewl case foot im making, So it gets some ventalation down there. I think the 2 inch case foot will do the job, expecialy if i make some sort of path for air to get through when cutting the acrylic with my router and with a CnC thats at my old highschool (yah my teacher was the shit back in the day. He still lets me use stuff in the shop, eventhough i graduated in 02').
What do u guys think of bottom mounted case fans??

only problem with 1/8" thick acrylic is that it vibrates alot with fans mounted to it making a funny vibration noise, so ive noticed with the case im currently using

if its for gaming id reconsider the sony 19" LCD

last time i checked that had a horrible response time, even worse then my NEC 1850E which definitly shows some ghosting
