Currently running, i3 350, 8GB ram, Gigabyte H55M-UD2H, Gigabyte 460 Cyclone, but that doesn't fit inside my Lian Li V350.


Option 1 - The mini-ITX

Silverstone Sugo SG05BB-450
Zotac Z68ITX-A-E
Intel CPU Core i5 2500K
Corsair Memory Vengeance LP Blue 8GB
-----**MSI GTX 460 Cyclone currently got, can change if it doesn't fit inside SG05 or if I feel like changing. **-----



Option 2 - The micro-ATX

Asus Maximus IV GENE-Z
Intel CPU Core i5 2500K
Corsair Memory Vengeance LP Blue 8GB
ATI 6870 2GB (make / model unkown right now) Or maybe a 560 Ti if my budget will allow it.

goes into Lian Li V350 w/ Corsair HX 650W PSU.


Around £30 between the two options.

Definitely going to be overclocking and current CPU cooler is a Corsair H50 in my V350, which I can use again in either case.


So which option guys and gals? :)
 
If you want overclocking and general future proof go option 2.
Both Zotac and Asrock Z68 boards are terrible overclockers. Not to mention that LGA2011 won't have mITX, unless some very crazy poor featured board that could squeeze 4 horizontal SODIMM banks.
 
From the reviews I've read the Zotac isn't really terrible at overclocking. ~4.5+ looks do able. I understand about the future proofing part and ease for expansion later on.
