Hi all,

Recently set up a new server. It's a DS380 + C2750D4I build, running Windows Server 2012 R2.

One of the things I've got running on it is MineOS (Minecraft server management, off Debian) through Hyper-V.

No-one can connect to the MC servers outside the LAN though. They can connect fine to the webUI (8080), and the shell (12321), but not join a Minecraft game (25565).

The Box's NIC is on 192.168.192.7, attached to a vNIC within Hyper-V. The VM is running on 192.168.192.11. This is the address I have ports forwarded to on the router.

Can anyone spot anything I'm not doing correctly here?

Is there a reason not to use bridged networking? I find NAT to be an awful band-aid only useful in situations where you only get one IP address or are locked into a single MAC.

The adapters are bridged. I actually got it fixed anyway. I'd originally disabled the host's firewall troubleshooting something else, and it must have got turned on after a Windows update or something. Wasn't letting TCP requests for Minecraft through.
