It seems the new Samsung 193p has been released in europe. According to tomshardware (german version) and samsung france, the display has response time <20ms with contrast ratio of 800:1.

I first read about the display in Anadtech's 2003 comdex coverage - good looking monitor and a PVA panel to boot!!!!

Definately something to look forward to.
 
How long does it take after displays are released in Europe before they arrive in N. America? I'm waiting for Samsung's new 243T, but don't know if it will be within my budget. It was announced back in early October, but all I have so far are European quotes.
