I just installed a D-link DIR-655 Xtreme N Gigabit wireless router in place of a lynksys B router. Both wired and wireless connections work although certain sites i try to access lock up my browser (IE 7) for a short period of time before displaying the page. CPU Process for IE jumps way up. This also happens on other Browsers with same pages (Latest Firefox, Chrome) as well as my other 4 PC's on the network. This problem does not occur with my Lynksys wireless B, or direct from modem, so im sure it must be the router. one of the sites i have a problem with is quakelive. Im just puzzled as to why a router would freeze up browser on certain sites, the routers log doesnt show anything unordinary except LAN dropped 2 TX Packets. Gonna try from scratch one more time reflash firmware, disconnect everything, power cycle, and all that good stuff.
