Hope this is in the right section. New components on the way.

What i got for 1453.00 shipped:

-Antec P183
-Dell S2409W 24" LCD
-Corsair 650TX PSU
-AMD Phenom II X4 955BE
-ASUS M4A79XTD EVO
-G-Skill 4GB DDR3 1333 cas 8
-DUAL 150GB WD Raptors ($50.00ea.!! new; from cousin, love family)
-HIS 1GB Radeon HD 5850
-LITE-ON DVD Burner
-Razor DeathAdder Mouse
-Windows 7 Professional (Retail)

not bad i think........da**, i dont have a keyboard.

Go for a different 5850, HIS is notorious for their bad RMA service. visiontek's the same price and comes with a lifetime warranty, although I can't vouch if their RMA service is much better. I've heard gigabyte and asus are better though.

Yea, Well the XFX's were sold out ($299) and I read some good stuff about HIS, not as good as XFX im sure, but not bad. But the order is already through.

Ah, I'm sure you'll be fine, they are all the same until they go bad. Maybe post some pics when your done? Everyone loves build pics :D

VisionTek would have been better than HIS since they, like XFX, offer a lifetime warranty.

Why the need for Win 7 Pro? and why the need for retail instead of OEM?

I have a technet subscription, so i can go with win 7 ulti. if i wanted, and i get retail keys, i just mentioned that for price comparison. I feel like I made out pretty good for under 1500, and not using any old components. ( the 1453 price included technet subscription, me and a friend split it).
