I second that, 512 is getting near the absolute minimum these days for gaming. Alot of games with significantly benifit from 1gig over 512.

i third it...and its a done deal...go get another 512 of ram...

get a gig of value ram over 512 of corsair XMS,

also, you sure you got the right ram displayed 2x256 @ 3-3-3-8? thats worse than most 2x512 value ram's.

I meant to put a gig of ram on there (2x512), so i can run them dual channel. My friend recommended this ram, he has it in his rig and says its some of the best ram he has ever used. Any other suggestions?

WINCHETER!!! Get that Winchester 3500+ core NOT newcastle. It runs cooler, and can overclock to AT LEAST 4000+ speeds on stock cooling! (you might 1gb of ram though)

The prices will most likely drop even further for Winchesters when the Venice comes out. So I reccomend waiting for the Venice then buying the Winchester 3500+, which I predict will be under $300 by that time.

Wait for the venices.

Also, get a 1 gig of ram

Also, you dont need to post the full specs of everything, most of us know what your talking about if you write :MSI X800XL, A64 3500+ etc...

As for the HD's... You should either get a second one of the ones you got, or get 80gb's and raid them, or if you got cash. Two large raptors would be fantastic. I'd suggest doing some type of raid. The load times go WAY down if you've got raid. Yeh, don't even think of buying a system without a gig'o-ram

PSU... Antec NEO... just do it. something above 300w would be nice....

Yeah, just get 2x512, to allow for more upgradability (instead of having to throw out ALL of your 256's just to upgrade to 2gb or 1.5gb.

If you don't mind spending about $40 more for a way better product, get the winchester, and if you don't mind spending an extra $50-80 for a Venice (the best) get that instead. Just don't buy that Newcastle.

Yea I'm definintely going to get the Winchester or Venice Core, The power supply i choose is a Antec True 550W PSU. Gonna get a gig of ram as well. For the HDD I'm gonna keep the 120GB Sata and as Stormlifter suggested I;m going to get two 80GB HDD and Set em up on Raid. What do you guys think for my video card choice.I was either going to get the one i listed or go with the 6800GT. I'm currently running a 6600GT, but its an AGP verison so its kinda lame. The last thing i'm still tryin to decide on is wether or not to go SLI or just stick with straight PCI-E. SLI is friggin awesome, i was thinkin if i did decide to go SLI i would wait for the new ATI Chipset MOBOs to come out cause from what i hear they are bad ass.
