I just made this for my own personal use at work and thought i should share in case anyone else wanted to use it to assimilate their whole domain at work, or even their whole workgroup at home.

ftp://fah:home@66.56.195.214/

feel free to look, take, use, whatever
it uses the output of the net view command as a hitlist

i plan on using it to b0rg the 500 somthing computers on my domain at work as soon as i can "aquire" domain admin privledges. :D

Does this script workwith any OS or is it specific in what it works on.

I run linux boxes and my family all use different variants of windows, and a couple of them have multiple boxes networked, so I want to Borg my nieces from her mothers computer :D

And I am not that experienced with XP, and would prefer not to be.

BUT must get more boxen :D

only works for windows2000 and xp, would be completely transparent to the end user unless they check their taskmanager for some reason

one way to make sure it will work on the remote computer is to open the network neighborhood and then the computer you want to assimilate, the adress bar would look like this

\\computername\sharename

if you can access

\\computername\c$

it will work, if you cant, then youll have to copy it to a folder, sit at that computer and run the install this computer

hope that helps

cool thanks. I am actually building 11 new p4 3.2's for the office and am using F@H for the stress testing this week. I think only a handful of people in the office won't want it running in the backround once I distribute them. SO this makes it way easier for me to install.
