New raptor... few simple questions.

OK, Im new to the sata drive, so I have a couple simple questions.

1st: I got this cableWD sata

Do I have to use that in conjunction with a molex connector, or will that cable suffice?

2nd. For my jumper settings. Im going to be using WD 80 GB as my "back up drive" the raptor will be my XP drive etc. Im going set the raptor to master, but if the WD 80 is second, and running off the ide, what will that be set to? Thanks.

3rd. I did some reading, all I do is slap in the drive, hook up the cables, configure it through BIOS (I have my mobo manual) and go from there correct?

1. that cable is just for data, you need to use a molex too

2. There arent jumpers on an SATA driver for master, slave etc. You can just install it. set your data drive on the IDE to whatever it is (master or slave)

3. As long as you have native SATA on your chipset, you are good to go. If you dont, you need to use F6 on windows install and use the drivers from a floppy.
