Okay I have a OEM motherboard that uses a cypress/icw PLL and I've been overclocking this processor using CPUFSB which worked great. I OCed my S478 2.0 P4 Northwood to 2.55ghz with PC2700 RAM (2x512) but when I upgraded to two stick of PC3200 RAM it wont let me OC even 1mhz!!! Any ideas?!? The processor just cant take the difference in RAM speed?

I recommend setting bios to default and start ur Ocing again. This was probably caused by different timings of the memory and them being ddr400 instead of 333 that had a conflict with your cpu/fsb ratio

I figured that is what it was but since this MOBO is locked I will wait till my new CPU gets here then ill install the ram in my new board.
