im torn between the 355 or the 655
currently i have
thermaltake p500
3/8 tubing maybe like 8ft not real sure
4, 90 degree fittings
120 swiftech rad
360 swiftech rad
swiftech gt cpu block
bitpower gpu block
cooling i7 920 and 4870 x2

my shitty coolmax psu died right after the 3 year warranty expired, ive repalce it with a pc pand p 950w. but, i've been using this pump(p500) for about 3-4 years. i figured it would be easy enough to upgrade and might be about time
thanks for checking out this thread any ideas r appreciated.

MCP355. Your loop looks fairly restrictive and complicated, plus you do not really have the room for a 655.

Make sure to get a custom top for the 355.

You could make your life easier if you bought an MCP 355 and one of these: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/7...Pump_Attachment_w_MCP-350355_No_Fittings.html

You just need to make sure that you have space for it.

using the pump top res boosts the pump performance AND elimanates your need for the micro-Res, reducing tubes as well.

You would most likely have room for the MCP 655 but I think your loop would do well with either pump, obviously the 355 has a much smaller footprint.

Either D5 or DDC will work fine for your loop. Your loop isn't terribly restrictive to the point where you'd be significantly hampering a D5.

Seems really overpriced. SVC.com has the MCP355 for $74.99 and the XSPC res/top for $29.99 for a total of $104.98.

It was just an example.
All I was trying to show was the pump top.
You could get BOTH alot cheaper at jab-tech.:D

Frozen always has higher prices (with a few exceptions)

great the ddc pump is a well supported pump.

about the res. i agree it has to be changed for a more effecient setup, and thats where im stuck now, but you guys helped me decide on a pump. so i appriciate that, but now i'm wondering how to change my setup

the rad is the first drive bay, the rad fittings r in the second and a dvd/burner drive is in the 4th, just thinking aloud. but, i could move the dvd/burner externally and setting the pump and res in the drive bay could def. reduce tubing

I would never buy anything Koolance.

Take a long look at the XSPC pump top I linked.

I also dont care for bay reservoirs......they are notoriously difficult to bleed, empty, and fill.
