i need a new psu for a old pentium 3 comp. it has a six pin conector on the mobo that i have never seen before, but the only new comps that i have much experince with are amd. will i have to get an old psu or will an new psu work. i checked my brothers comp and it does not have that conector but his is amd. plz help me cause i need to get this comp up and running asap. thanx.

What you need is an “AT” power supply instead of the newer “ATX” versions. If you have any computer shops in your area give them a call, most are thrown away with their old cases these days.

You can find new ones though, just do a search on Google or use newegg and they have a database search that will help you narrow it to “AT” only in your search.
