Hi everyone, sorry if this is confusing at all...

So my current PC is in my sig right now, and with my GTX 285 in the mail right now, is my Antec NeoPower 550W PSU big enough to power it and the rest of my system? If not, I am probably leaning towards getting the Corsair 850W PSU, which would power it just fine.

Also, I'm still debating whether or not I want to add a second 285 to my system. If I did, and had the Corsair 850, would that be good for dual SLI 285s? Or would it be safer to go with something more powerful?

Well first off, your mobo doesn't support SLI AFAIK. So there's no point in going with a SLI setup.

Second, yes the Neopower 550 is enough for your sig system + GTX 285. A bit close for comfort for myself but still enough

Yeah, if I decided to run SLI (I can't ever decide if I want to or not) I would be replacing my MB.

But if I stuck with my sig, would it be best to go up to like 650 or 750?

I recommend at least the 850TX for a GTX 285 SLI setup with a quad-core CPU to be on the safe side.

Thanks.

Also, this might be a dumb question, but it shows that the 850TX comes with 4 8pin PCIe connectors but the GTX 285 uses 6 pin connectors...Do the cards come with adapters then?

Well the cards do come with adapters to get 6Pin and 8Pin PCI-E connectors but you don't need them. The Corsair's 4 x 8Pin PCI-E connectors are actualy 6+2Pin PCI-E connectors. Meaning that you can remove part of the 8Pin Connector which turns them into 6Pin PCI-E connectors.
