I have that Ultra X psu with those wires you can connect or disconnect to the PSU, but I hate the thing...the wires are stiff as hell and some aren't long enough..

I have an AMD 64 3400+ cpu and an asus k8n-e mobo..can you guys reccommend something strong but quiet?
 
Enermax NoiseTaker and Liberty (+cable management) series are strong and quiet.

Seasonics are also quiet. Silverstone has a quiet model aswell.
