hey guys i just ordered another new 6800GS to add to my other one (i wanna try out SLI). here are my specs:

AMD Opteron 144 @ 2.5
2Gb (2x1gb) Gskill RAM
Gigabyte K8N SLI
160Gb ATA133 HD
eVGA 6800GS
Soundblaster Audigy
Antec Smartpower 450watt

do you think i should get a new PSU when/if i order another 6800GS for SLI? if so, are there any that are under $100 because i am spending my extra cash on that card. what do you guys think?

Well, youve got a nice psu but it might be alittle hard on it with both of those cards, probably a good idea if you can afford it to get something sli certified.

spectre - i know what PSUs are good and which to stay away from, i just wanted to know if you guys think i should upgrade and if u knew of any good PSUs for under $100. or under $80 prefferably...

korruption - yes its a 2.0

Included in that link was the how to buy. Which if you follow the instructions and use the calculator provided it will give you the requirements for your system. I double checked and it contains all the values you need for your system to simply plug and chug at Zippy's calc.
