hihi,
i bought a new power supply today and after installing it and pushing the power button the system starts up but doesnt do anything besides spinning fans. the old psu i had, had a 4pin 12v connector for the mainboard the new one seems to have an 8pin that can be splittet into 2x4pin connectors, i tried bouth but neither of them make the system start. i tried my old psu just to make sure it wasnt the something else that keeped the system from booting and yeah with the old one everything works.
old psu: Seventeam ST-400WAP
new psu: Thermaltake Thoughpower 700W
any advice would be nice -.-
