New PolarFlo Stuff

Could someone tell me why that design looks like it will cool any better than say...a maze 4?
 
It looks nice, however from their own provided cooling graphs it seems to be about the same, if a bit worse than their old waterblocks (which weren't that great). I am baffled they wouldn't have come up with something that cools better. Basically they seem to have prettied up their blocks and done nothing else.
 
Notice that they didn't say "Visually stunning" or "Visually appealing", it's "aesthetically unique" :rolleyes:
 
I have a friend at Polarflo and I will be emailing him today to get one of the CPU blocks to test and review - but from the looks of the new base design, I can't see it performing better than previous blocks, and I am afraid it will not be competitive with the others out there, such as the TDX, Apogee, and Storm.

Will report back with any news I get
